  • The exam for LLM will be MCQ-based with 100 questions of one mark each.
  • Questions will be from different law branches.
  • The exam duration will be 120 minutes.
  • 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong attempt.

The AILET 2025 syllabus is divided into three sections for the BA LLB and B.Com LLB and two parts for the LLM. Below are some of the important points to note regarding the AILET 2025 exam pattern - 

  • AILET is an offline entrance exam and lasts 120 minutes. Candidates will be issued question booklets, OMR sheets, and a rough sheet and the exam is held in a pen-paper-based mode.
  • Candidates must fill out the OMR page with a blue or black ballpoint pen.
  • In AILET BA LLB, all questions are required. Each question is worth one mark, and each incorrect response is worth 0.25 points.
  • The total number of marks is 150, for both BA LLB (Hons.) and 100 for Master of Law - LLM.
  • The total number of questions will be 150 for BA LLB and 100 for LLM, which are objective-type questions / multiple-choice questions.
  • The medium for answering the paper is English.
