HBTU Kanpur Admission: NTA has officially announced the dates for the CUET UG and CUET PG 2024 exams. From May 15 to 31, 2024, the CUET UG 2024 exam will be conducted and from March 11 to 28, 2024, the CUET PG 2024 will be conducted.

The 77-acre east campus and the 271-acre west campus make up the two campuses of HBTU Kanpur, which provides a friendly atmosphere for students' holistic development and overall growth. The distance between the two campuses is around three kilometres. The university offers the necessary resources to both the staff members and students.
The HBTU Kanpur campus has received aid from the World Bank (phases TEQIP-I, TEQIP-II) for various developmental projects. This aid is to be spent on the infrastructural development, new and updated laboratory equipment, maintenance and repair of old laboratory equipment, funding for research and lectures attended by faculty in international universities and aim towards community development and overall growth.

Central Library: The university features a well-kept Tagore Central Library with more than 80,000 books, 25,000 printed journals and 400 or more electronic publications. Students can access the internet on computers in the library.
Central Workshop: Undergraduate, postgraduate, and research scholars/students can all receive instruction at the university's Central Workshop, which also helps them with the creation of their projects and experimental settings.
Laboratories: The HBTU Kanpur lab facility is top-notch. Each department has a designated laboratory such as civil engineering lab, chemistry lab, computer lab, electrical lab, electronics lab, mechanical lab, physics lab, etc.
Hostels: The university offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls. It has enough dorm rooms to accommodate many students. The HBTU hostels have their own mess, a canteen, a library, and a computer centre. The students are assigned based on merit and in accordance with university regulations. There is an option for single-occupancy rooms or shared rooms.
Computer Centre: The students, staff, and teachers have access to the well-maintained computer labs for research and instruction. The computer centre at HBTU has good hardware and functional internet access.
Canteen: The East Campus of HBTU features a canteen that offers vegetarian snacks, fast food, tea, coffee, soft drinks, and mixed meals.
Auditorium: East Campus of the university has a fully air-conditioned auditorium equipped with good light and sound system.
Bank: A fully operational branch of the Central Bank of India and an ATM are both located on the Harcourt Butler Technical University East Campus.
Sports Complex: There are a variety of facilities available, including basketball courts, handball courts, cricket grounds, football fields, tennis courts, table tennis courts, and hockey rinks.

The university offers scholarships to its students in the form of fee waivers, under which they are only required to pay a third of their tuition. There are just a few seats available in this category for students from the reserved category who have achieved high qualifying marks and are eligible for the HBTU Kanpur scholarships. On November 14, 2022, AKTU announced the open seats for UPCET Counselling Special Round 1. Between November 15 and 16, 2022, candidates can register for the special round 1. On November 19, 2022, the seat allotment result for UPCET Counselling Special Round 1 will be made public. Based on JEE Main 2022 scores, AKTU revealed the results of the UPTAC 2023 Seat Allotment Round 4 for admission to the B.Tech programmes.
Students for additional rounds of HBTU B.Tech online counselling can submit their details on the ERP portal from November 15-18, 2022. These candidates must be present at the university on November 21, 2022, for physical reporting. The newly admitted students for the B.Tech programme who submitted their details for the HBTU Kanpur online counselling on October 26-31, 2022 in the ERP portal had to be present at the university on November 14, 2022, for physical reporting.
All the newly admitted students (Harcourt Butler Technical University academic session 2024) of B.Tech, B.Tech (lateral entry) must note that sufficient hostel facilities are available for allotment. The students for hostel allotment must report on November 14, 2022, directly at their respective hostels.
The registration portal was open from November 9-12, 2022, for the newly admitted students for the first-year BBA course and second-year B.Tech (lateral entry) course for session 2022-2023.
