IIT Jodhpur B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2024

The candidates who wish to get admission to the B.Tech course at IIT Jodhpur will have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• The candidates should have appeared for the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination.
• The candidates must have secured at least 75% marks or be in the top 20% in the class 12 examination conducted by respective boards. For SC/ST students, there shall be a relaxation of 5% in this criterion.

• The candidate must have acquired a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or a 6.00 CGPA on a 10-point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree.
• A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e. a minimum of 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e. min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale) will be applicable for the SC/ST/PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.
• The candidates who are in their final year of programs are also eligible to apply for admission, given the condition that they meet all eligibility requirements and will produce a provisional certificate of completion within two months of joining the program.
• The candidate must have scored a valid score in CAT. 

IIT Jodhpur MBA Selection Process 2024

There are two major steps involved in the MBA admission process at SME, IIT Jodhpur:

1. Initial Shortlisting

The first step is to shortlist the candidates based on composite scores. The composite score will be calculated based on the CAT overall scaled score, work experience, and gender diversity. A cutoff will be generated, and all the candidates who obtain the minimum cutoff scores will be shortlisted.

2. Final Selection

Short-listed candidates will have to attend the personal interview round in virtual mode. The final selection will be made based on composite score + personal interview round.
