The MAT 2024 February session on PBT mode was concluded on February 25, 2024. All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts the MAT exam in four sessions (February, May, September, and December) every year. Graduates in any discipline can get admission into MBA/PGDM courses in over 800 B-Schools in India through valid MAT scores.

MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is the only MBA entrance exam in India that offers candidates the option to appear in Paper Based Test (PBT), Computer Based Test (CBT), and Internet Based Test (IBT) modes. The question paper has 200 MCQs from five subjects - Language Comprehension, Data Analysis & Sufficiency and Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and Indian & Global Environment.

How to Fill the Application Form of MAT Feb 2024

Check out the steps regarding how to fill out the MAT 2024 Application Form for the February session is mentioned below.

Step 1: Visit the official website of AIMA.

Step 2: Register yourself first by providing personal details such as  Name of Candidate, e-mail address, mobile number, Date of Birth, Password of choice, etc.

Step 3: Click on ‘Submit’ and verify the OTP sent to the provided email address and mobile number.

Step 4: Enter to verify the entered details and proceed further.

Step 5: Log in with the aforementioned details which include the Login ID and Password.

Step 6: Click on ‘Apply Now’.

Step 7: Enter your personal and academic credentials.

Step 8: Upload the required documents

Step 9: Attach scanned images of a recent passport-sized photograph and signature. The prescribed format mentioned below needs to be followed.

Step 10: Make the payment of the application fee, i.e. Rs. 1,550/-. The same can be done only through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.

The documents attached by a candidate need to be submitted in a particular format or else they will not get uploaded. Here are the important specifications that need to be kept in mind while uploading the documents in the application form for MAT Feb 2024.

  • The image must follow .jpg or .jpeg format.

  • The file should not exceed 75 KB

  • The image should not be less than 20 KB.

Signature

  • The signature must be done on white paper with a black ink pen.

  • The size of the file should not be more than 50 KB.

  • Do not scan the entire page, only the signature area needs to be scanned.

The MAT 2024 admit card is an important document that is released a week before the exam. Candidates can find important details such as name, exam date, time and venue, photograph, roll number, signature, and instructions on the admit card.   • Visit the official website of AIMA.

  • Select the IBT/PBT exam mode opted by you.

  • Enter the Registration Number and Date of Birth.

MAT Feb 2024 Result

The MAT result 2024 will be announced on the official website. The scorecard of MAT will be considered valid only for a year. The result can be checked on the official website as well as via SMS. An applicant can send an SMS to 54242 with details like Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Registration Number. To check the MAT Feb 2024 online, the steps mentioned below need to be followed.

  • Enter the Registration number and Roll number.

How can I apply for the MAT exam?

To apply for the MAT exam, a candidate first needs to meet the eligibility criteria set by AIMA (All India Management Association). Graduates and final-year students can apply for the MAT exam by filling out the application form available on the official website (mat.aima.in). The application fee for IBT is INR 1900, for PBT/CBT (single paper) is INR 1900, and for both CBT and PBT is INR 3050.

How many attempts are there in MAT in a year?

There are a total of 4 attempts in MAT in a year. AIMA (All India Management Association) conducts MAT every year in four sessions in the months of February, May, September, and December. Candidates aspiring for MBA admission into MAT participating colleges can appear for as many attempts as they want. However, they need to register every time to wish to take the exam.

Is MAT more difficult than CAT?

No, MAT is not more difficult than CAT. The difficulty level of the MAT exam is moderate. On the other hand, CAT is considered the toughest MBA entrance exam in India and has a difficulty level of moderate to tough. CAT is conducted for admission into IIMs and other top B-schools, thus, it is more difficult to crack CAT as compared to MAT.

Can I prepare for MAT in 3 months?

Yes, you can prepare for MAT in 3 months if you have a good grasp of the basic concepts and are well aware of the topics covered in the MAT exam. By going through the important topics thoroughly, solving sample & old question papers, and taking mock tests regularly, you can easily crack MAT in 3 months. However, if you are preparing from the scratch, then you need at least 6 or more months to qualify for the exam.
