JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Pattern will be released by IIT Kanpur on the official website at jeeadv.ac.in. As per the exam pattern of JEE Advanced 2025, the exam will be conducted for 3 hours each for both papers. Candidates are required to attempt 54 questions from the 3 sections of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics that is18 questions will be asked from each section. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam is computer-based and is divided into three sections: physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

As per the JEE Advanced marking scheme 2025, For 4 questions of 12 marks, you get +3 for choosing the correct option, 0 for not answering, and -1 for all other cases. For 3 questions of 12 marks, you get +4 for all correct options, +3 for three correct options, +2 for two correct options, +1 for one correct option, 0 for not answering, and -2 for all other cases. And for 6 questions of 24 marks, you get +4 for the correct answer and 0 if you make no attempts. General Instructions for Computer Based Test

The general instructions for the computer based test of JEE Advanced exam is mentioned below.

• Students must use the password that has been assigned to them to log in to the exam.
• To begin the exam, candidates must first log in and then click the "proceed" and "Start" buttons.
• Throughout the JEE Advanced exam, the keyboard will not be functional.
• Only the "mouse" will be used by candidates to provide the answers.
• In the event that a glitch occurs during the exam, the candidates will receive another computer.
• Computers will generate an automatic clock so that candidates can see the precise time of their log-in and log-out.
• Candidates can click on the "profile" in the upper left corner of the exam to switch the exam language.
