VITEEE full form is Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination. The entrance exam is conducted annually by the Vellore Institute of Technology to provide admission to undergraduate Engineering courses (BE/B. Tech) across its various campuses. Every year, nearly 2 lakh students apply for VITEEE. Those who qualify and get selected for admission through the counselling process are offered admission to B. Tech programs at VIT Amravati, VIT Bhopal, VIT Chennai, and VIT Vellore.

VITEEE Counselling Dates 2025

VIT will release the result of VITEEE 2025 in the online mode on May 3-4, 2025 (tentatively). Candidates who had appeared for the VITEEE Exam 2025 can check the VITEEE Result 2025 at viteee.vit.ac.in. Candidates are required to use their application number and password to access the results. The scorecard of the candidates will comprise information, such as the application number, scores obtained, rank secured, etc.

VIT University has commenced the VITEEE Counselling 2025 via online mode. Only those candidates who secure a rank in the VITEEE Merit List 2025are eligible to participate in the counselling process and fill in their choices for the desired courses and colleges in order of preference. Based on the ranks of the candidates, the choices filled, and the availability of seats, the authorities will release the VITEEE Seat Allotment 2025. To confirm the allocated seat, candidates will have to submit at least 50% of the admission fee.

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria 2025 is set by Vellore University. The eligibility criteria for VITEEE 2025 encompasses the age and nationality of the candidates along with their subjects and marks secured in the Class 12 examination. Candidates willing to appear for the VITEEE Exam 2025 must check whether they meet the eligibility guidelines set by the conducting authority before commencing the VITEEE Registration 2025. 

The VITEEE 2025 registration process is ongoing in online mode at vit.ac.in. Candidates must ensure to provide authentic information, as any misrepresentation of information will lead to the cancellation of the VITEEE Application Form 2025. Candidates must also keep all the necessary documents handy before applying.

The following steps are involved in the application process for VITEEE 2025 -

Step 1: New User Registration

Visit the VITEEE 2025 official website - viteee.vit.ac.in. Enter the required information in the portal. For verification, an OTP will be given to your registered mobile number. A password will be issued to your registered email address after the OTP has been confirmed. This will be your registered email address and phone number for further communication.

Step 2: Sign-in 

Log in using the registered email address and the VIT password.

Step 3: Filling Out Application Form

Complete the application form with the required details. Upon the completion of the primary information, an Application Number will be created. Use this application number for future interactions.

Step 4: Online Payment

The VITEEE registration fee of INR 1350 must be paid using Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or Paytm. For the Overseas exam centre, INR 90 is equivalent to USD 90.

Step 5: Document Uploading

Upload your scanned photograph and signature in JPG format with 10 to 200 KB size. The photograph dimension should be 3.5 cm width x 4.5 cm height and the signature dimension should be 3.5 cm width x 1.5 cm height.

Step 6: Downloading Application Form

Download and save the completed application form for future reference and correspondence. 

Candidates will be issued the VITEEE Admit Card 2025 once they successfully complete the slot booking for VITEEE 2025. Candidates will be able to access the VITEEE 2025 Hall Ticket by visiting the official website and providing their login credentials. The VITEEE 2025 Admit Card will comprise information such as the name of the candidate, application number, address of the test centre, date and time of the VITEEE exam, and other details. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their hall tickets along with valid identity proof to the examination center, failing which they will not be allowed to appear for the test. 

VIT Vellore will release the official list of VITEEE Exam Centers 2025 along with the information brochure. The list will comprise the names of the states and locations where the entrance exam will be conducted. VIT Vellore will release the VITEEE Exam Pattern 2025. The exam pattern includes important exam details, like question type, exam mode, duration, marking scheme, etc. Here is an overview of the exam pattern -

VITEEE 2025 Syllabus has been released on the VIT Vellore official website. The syllabus for VITEEE includes five main subjects, namely Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, English, and Mathematics. There are various chapters and topics included in these subjects from which questions will be asked in the exam. To prepare for the exam students must refer to the official syllabus released by VIT only. 

Aspirants are advised to devise a comprehensive study plan and follow some preparation tips to crack VITEEE 2024 with good marks. the following VITEEE Preparation Tips 2025 can help them come up with a good strategy -

VIT University will only issue the stream-wise and campus-wise closing ranks. The cutoff ranks will be available after the declaration of the results. However, the data received by the candidates who appeared in the previous year's examination has been used to determine the expected VITEEE 2025 Cutoff. Candidates can go through the VITEEE cutoffs of previous years to get a fair idea of what score they would need in order to qualify for the counselling process.
